Well yes, must confess I see your point considering that you bought it NEW. We certainly do not expect loads of little annoyances at full price. The used 2009 I bought only had 17,000 miles on it, is a one owner, but I only paid $6800 for it, so perhaps I expect less from the get-go. For this category and price range, however, I think Hyundai does better than all the others, though granted with fewer whistles and bells; which is precisely why I bought it, having had 'finer' cars through the years and having grown weary of repairing broken electric window motors and such.

So yesterday I dropped my car off at the dealer to fix two problems, first was for the transmission problem, which turned out to be the shifting assembly needs to get replaced, because some plastic got worked out at 31 650 KM, which is pathetic, and the other problem was that there was some loose plastic between the roof and the roofs fabric, on both the driver's side and passenger's once again at 31 650 KM. Not too happy about that, but what can you do. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR NEW, NOT WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE. Buy the car used; Hyundai's depreciate very fast, so you can get it way cheaper, and won't be so upset when the car breaks!!!

Ya, I do all the maintenance myself, and always on the right intervals.
Also I have taken excellent care of it, but small things keep on popping up, like now there is a vibration between the material on the roof and the roof itself. Like is said, good for the price, but that's about it!!!
To tell you the truth, I have been happy with the car besides the second and third gears sticking sometimes. If that wasn't the case, it's a good car for what you pay for. I bought it for cheap, so I expected it to be cheap, but not to be breaking way before 50 000 KM, that's pathetic; if I known that before I bought the car, I would have bought a used car, and wouldn't be surprised when it broke. I bought a brand new car, so it wouldn't break for a while at least!!!
