1999 Hyundai Tiburon from North America
Summary:
For the price and warranty, who could complain?
Faults:
Bumper had to be re-painted twice because the silver paint they switched to had a tendency to chip. That was covered under warranty.
The light in my CD player has burnt out, making it impossible to change tracks while it's night time unless you turn the overhead light on.
Rear brakes had to be replaced before front ones have. I've yet to replace the front brakes at 69,000 miles, but the rear ones were replaced at 50,000.
General Comments:
The car has great initial pick up, but not for very long.
It handles curves exceptionally well.
Since there is no annoying "ding" when you leave your lights on and open the door I've had to re-charge the battery nearly a dozen times.
The backseat doesn't accommodate tall people very well. So make sure to tell them to duck when your closing the back hatch!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I agree with the comments on the size of the Tiberon. Seduced by the sporty look, when I purchased I somehow missed that it was very cramped. Not a good buy for a tall person - very little headroom. Otherwise a great car.
