General Comments:
This is my first car, and its awesome. It has no problems excluding the ones I have caused.
I only paid $2000 for it, and that was after it was inspected by AAA. They said the car runs like it is brand new with all original parts, and they expect it to go atleast 300,000 miles.
It goes everywhere I want it to without problems. It has good pickup, suspension and brakes.
It has a minor oil leak, so I have to add a little oil about once every other month, but it has lead to no other problems.
I got into an accident about 5,000 miles ago going about 20 mph. I hit a brand new Toyota Avalon, and I plowed through that thing (sorry!). That car was totaled and needed to be scrapped. Mine had only minor fender damage!! And I didn't feel a thing.
It is without a doubt the most comfortable car I have ever driven, and that includes new: BMWs, Mercedes', Land Rovers, and Volkswagons. The front seats never leave you sore.
It also has the features of most new cars, including power: windows, locks, side mirrors, seats, and A/C & heat, cd player, rear wiper & defrost, etc, etc...
It got a new paint job about 5 years ago, and it looks amazing. That combined with limo tint on all windows, and chrome all over, it is hands down the best looking car on the road also.
I am so saddened by the fact the the 88's were the last year Jeeps were made by American Motors, because Daimler Chrysler really cheapened these great vehicles.
Ill be expecting this car to last me until I'm done with college in another 4 years. I just wish I could buy more just like it, nothing else competes!!
Note: The only reason I have Dealer a 0/10 is because the new Jeep dealers (Chrysler) don't give a sh*t about me.

Just one comment, to fix the slight oil leak try adding a bottle of Lucas HD Oil Stabilizer. My 88 loved it and hasn't leaked since. But that is true, they were the best vehicles that money can buy!
