I bought my Grand Cherokee at 31,000 miles. Replaced front rotors at 67,000, along with all four brakes and turned the back rotors down. Not much of a problem, second Grand Cherokee, from a 93' to a 2000. Can't wait to see the 05 with the Hemi... Love the Grand Cherokee.

I am having to replace my 3rd door lock assembly in 5 months this week. Last month, it was the tail light assembly. Before that, the socket went bad twice in the same tail light. I just seems like a lot of weird electrical problems for a 4 year old car that has always been garaged. Hum...

I own a 2000 Grand Cherokee. My problem is also the brakes. To the person who say that a fix was found, please tell me how and who? I love my Jeep.
Could you tell me what aftermath part I need. Email-jpadilla4@yahoo.com

To the person who says they have fixed the problem on the Jeep Grand Cherokee regarding rotors... not true. I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 19,000 miles and just had to have the rotors cut. I owned Lincoln Town Cars for 11 years and never had a major problem or expense. I thought I wanted an SUV and was impressed with the Jeep and always thought Chrysler was a good manufacturer. I don't think so anymore. Too bad I didn't check out these websites earlier. Won't be buying a Chrysler product again. Already have sent a letter to Chrysler, not that I think it will make a difference.

In reply to the first comment-It is a 2000 you fool! So they fixed it in later models... big deal! Why don't they bring the earlier models up to par? They made a little "boo-boo" doesn't pay the bills pal-unless you work for Chrysler-which it sounds like you do, because even though you admit they're at fault, you don't hold them responsible. A little "boo-boo" is to have a knob fall off or a radio that doesn't work -not something that prevents the vehicle from safely stopping on the freeway. Reread your comment and read all the other complaints about brakes on the GC and you'll realize how much you sound like an idiot.
