2003 Jeep Liberty 3.7 from North America
Summary:
A Lemon
Faults:
Vibration in the steering wheel when traveling between 58 and 70mph I have had it serviced 4 times for this problem. The fourth time was checked by a Daimler-Chrysler from the Northeast Business Center. He told me that the Liberty operates as designed. That I wasn't the first nor will be the last to complain about vibration in the Liberty. He said all Jeep Liberty's have vibration that cannot be fixed. He went on to tell me not to drive at those speeds and you won't feel the vibration.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I own a 2002 jeep liberty, the problem that I have is that the suspension seams to be sprung. it like driving a vehicle with 300000km on it. I live in Labrador, and have 300km of dirt road (route 500) on either side of me before I reach pavement. It is very dis-hearting to drive this rig over the road. Nearly every pothole she bottoms out, even little dips are rough. I have talked to my dealer, he informed me that he has never heard of this problem, but he is going to check with the engineering dept. to see what he can come up with.

I own a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4X4, I do not have any vibration at all and I have had the car for about 5 months. Sorry to hear about your misfortune, the vibration problem is only a minor thing. Just remember, it ALWAYS could be worse.
