This is commentary on my original post. 244,000+ at this point. The engine is still strong, original serpentine belt and water pump. MPG has fallen, but it needs a tuneup. It would be the second tuneup. Replaced struts and shocks this year; they never leaked.
The turn signal issue was a socket problem. I fixed that. Windshield washer fluid had gelled. Easy to remove reservoir and clean. Works fine now.
I did replace the transmission, so I no longer feel the need to show how fast it can accelerate. The rack and pinion assembly needs to be replaced now too. Overall, it has been extremely reliable and has had few problems.
I would drive it anywhere and feel secure (after a tuneup and a rack is installed).

May 2018. The 2006 Sedona has 276,000 miles. Just completed a 350 mile round trip with the air on, loaded with kids and gear and luggage. Did not calculate mileage this time. I would guess around 20 to 21 MPG since speed was lower. Traveled to our destination in pouring rain with 25 to 50 feet of visibility at times. Front left turn signal was the socket so I removed it, reformed the spring leads and reinstalled. It has its issues, but is still a solid good running vehicle. Our one owner 2003 Optima SE V6 has 220,000 miles. Maintained with timing belt and water pump replacement, and is also doing fine.

I am the original owner and still drive my Sedona. It has 284,000 miles now. It has several issues that I haven’t fixed because the cost is more than the value. It still runs and drives smoothly.
We make a bimonthly drive in it that is 170 miles round trip, and sometimes go downstate about 360 miles round trip. It gets around 22 or 23 mpg depending on speed. I change the oil regularly and this 3.5 V6 barely loses any oil. I have still not replaced the serpentine belt!
I thought about ‘upgrading’ to a Sienna or Odyssey, but excessive oil consumption is too great a possibility. I like knowing the engine and transmission will get me home and I don’t need to buy and carry extra oil.

I was driving through Georgia going east towards Savannah. We probably had a good tailwind. I have achieved 26 MPG once or twice also. I typically carry a load until we travel so the engine doesn't work as hard (another guess). I mostly follow good driving techniques.
