2010 Kia Soul 2 1.6 petrol from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Good car from an improving manufacturer
Faults:
Some corrosion on the front alloys; I will bring this up when it is in for a service, and see what the dealer will do. The rest of the car is fault free.
General Comments:
Great safety kit with lots of airbags, ESP and a five star crash rating (hope we never test it out though).
Car seems pretty well built, and at eight months of ownership, my wife is pretty happy with the quality. We were a bit worried moving from Toyota to Kia, but our fears seem unfounded.
For someone shorter than average, the driving position is very good with comfortable (though firm) seating and a commanding view of the road.
Car has plenty of low down pull, but is a bit breathless at high motorway speeds. About 37 mpg in mixed driving seems pretty good, and is consistent over time.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Forgot to mention the safety aspects - 5 star NCAP rating, 8 airbags, ESAP, (stability control) EPS, fog lights all round, and the main lights are bright too, despite not being LED's.
