2007 Lexus ES 350 3.5L from North America
Summary:
Couch on wheels, questionable quality
Faults:
Rattles that are unacceptable for a luxury car in this segment. A small area already starting to show rust.
General Comments:
The car really is a couch on wheels. Very comfortable. The quietest car I've driven with smooth engine and transmission with more than enough power.
The drawback is that the car is so quiet that rattles and squeaks seem so prominent. What I don't quite understand is some of these rattles and squeaks come and go depending on the temperature (from the Lexus Forum). At one point there was a squeak that was so constant and annoying I made the appointment immediately to have it checked out, only to find that it has completely resolved the following day.
A small area already showing rust (covered by warranty). Makes me question the quality of the brand.
I wish I had gotten the Mark Levinson sound system. Stock radio sucks.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

You hear squeaks and rattles that come and go as the weather changes because heat and cold cause things to expand and contract. That's nature, it's just what it does. You're expecting your car to defy nature?
