1996 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 from North America
Summary:
It is a luxury car with a lot of power and I get a lot of compliments on it
Faults:
The front air ride system needed to be worked on and the air ride shocks were replaced. The front air ride system went down around 65,000 miles.
The alternator was replaced around 70,000 miles, along with the battery because the idiot light never came on.
Currently it is mis-firing, not in idle, but during acceleration. It just started doing it this week. I suspect its the spark plugs and wires, but it only has 77000.
General Comments:
The car is reliable, no doubt about that.
I find it hard to work on it myself and it is expensive to work on.
I believe it is worth fixing if and when you have the money to do it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I agree the Lincoln mark VIII is indeed one of the best cars that I have ever owned. Thank You for getting the word out about this elegant car. I wish that Lincoln would bring it back, I am sure it would be a hit.
