2006 Mazda 6 i Sport 2.3 i4 Engine from North America
Summary:
Looks and drives like a sports car, but has safety features of a family sedan!
Faults:
The check engine light is somewhat sensitive. The car has a huge 18 gallon tank. If you get it down to about 3 gallons, the check engine light will go off. It will eventually clear once you go through enough drive cycles without any issues.
However because it is good practice to have your car checked with the cehck engine light turns on, this can be somewhat annoying if its just for gas.
General Comments:
The brakes are solid and will stop on a dime.
The handling is great. It turns sharp and rapidly.
The car has a great sporty look and makes you forget this is a family sedan.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

LOVE the looks of the 5-door hatchback. The car is very reliable (weird why your check engine light is so sensitive)
Pros:
Brakes
Looks :)
Handling
Gas mileage.
Cons:
Only front wheel drive (snow not so good)
Room
Automatic tries to get into 5th when around 40 (but that's why they invented manual mode)

"Only front wheel drive (snow not so good) "
You would think that would be a problem. However, you should be thankful it at least has front-wheel drive. The tires may spin, but if it was rear wheel drive, they would spin the car around and perhaps cause an accident. Rear-wheel drive vehicles get stuck a lot more often as well.

The check engine light shouldn't be just for gas. It may be that the tank lid isn't completely sealed. Make sure it clicks 3 times when you close it. You may want to clean the gasket and their seats as well.

Exactly right.
