General Comments:

To be clear, this is my review of a company car I had for a year, I did not own it. But I did drive it a lot and put plenty mileage on it.

The modern Mercedes A-Class still looks like a cool hatchback, and it was a spacious and comfortable car with lots going for it, so they got that right.

Interior wise the seats are comfortable, but that's about it for me. Call me old school but everything else is just... weird. There is a massive tablet like computer where a radio should be. Climate controls at-least have analogue controls (kind of).

The 1.5 diesel engine had enough power, but only just. It was very economical however, as expected.

But don't connect your phone to this damn thing, unless your company demands it. The data and privacy issues are well known. Lots of information out there on the web for you to explore this topic, but trust me, I only connected my works phone, I'd never use my regular phone in this car! Not exclusive to this car however, a lot of cars are like this now. I say it needs to stop.

Despite all this, the car is otherwise a classy little fun to drive hatchback. If you removed the digital features entirely and added analogue for everything, it would have been much better.

And that was the last company car I drove before retirement. I cannot imagine how annoying a 2023/2024 car must be like now...

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Totally agree, never connect your phone to your car, if you value privacy.
