Faults:

Oil leak, DPF and engine management light on, plus the usual wear and tear.

General Comments:

Late 2009 "59" registered E-Class, first of the newer shape cars. Seriously good looking, love this design, much sharper than the previous model.

My car is the typical grey, but it suits Mercedes. Inside is black leather and is very nice and comfortable. Love this interior. Classic Mercedes-Benz look and feel.

2.1 diesel performs well while doing 50 mpg, you cannot ask for more from a larger heavier saloon car. Not keen on the manual transmission however, this car is more suited to an automatic.

Some say these cars are not as reliable as Mercedes of years gone by, but mine has been OK. It is expensive to service and repair, but you must do your research and find a trustworthy mechanic to keep running costs down.
