1975 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S600 6.0 from UK and Ireland
Summary:
The best saloon in the world!!
Faults:
I had to replace the radiator because of a stone that burst it.
I have replaced the water pump.
General Comments:
The car is extremely fast; eats motorways for breakfast.
Rapid acceleration.
Good handling.
Very comfortable.
Luxury and rapid at the same time.
Double glazed windows are excellent.
Eats steep hills for dinner.
Looks the part.
Very reliable.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Thank you for clarifying that.
I thought it was some strange European-only model that I wasn't aware of. I guess the equivalent model in 1975 would be a 6.9 or a 450SEL.

It is not necessarily for a 1995 S600, though it most likely is. There was a 600 (no S, SL, or anything else, just a 600) manufactured from the mid 1960s all the way up to at least the early 1970s, and I think possibly through to 1981. It was the car the 6.3L M100 V8 that eventually wound up in the 300SEL 6.3 and later in enlarged form in the 450SEL 6.9 was initially designed for.

Double-glazing was available way sooner than 1994, I am not a car expert but can think of one 1991 BMW 7 E32 that already had double-glazing.

A '75 model with double-glazing?
I thought this feature was only introduced by Mercedes and BMW in about 1994?
