Faults:

About a two months after I got the car it needed a new radiator. From there on out it was smooth sailing, until now when the power steering has a VERY large leak somewhere and I'm getting rid of it for something with less mileage on it.

General Comments:

This car performs like no car I have driven before. I love to race it because it eats little Mustangs, Berettas, and Neons for breakfast, and it gives bigger vehicles like Camaros and Thunderbirds a really good run for their money. It is quick and it turns like a snake in a rat-hole. For a 4-door luxury sedan it is one of the best performers I have ever seen.

Talk about indestructible. This was the first car I officially owned and I have had numerous bumps and fender-benders (mostly other people's fault) and the damage is always on their car. I hit a solid metal and concrete pole at about 10-15 MPH and there was no dent in the bumper, but a little red paint on it from the pole. It stopped the Sable dead in its tracks, but no damage. I was stunned!

Also I hit a hollow metal light-post when I backed into it, and this is no lie! When I got out of the car to inspect it, the car was scratch free and the pole was dented.

This is the most godly car that I have ever seen, and if it weren't for the whole mileage thing, I would keep it. If anyone out there wants a super car that is both fast and comfortable for you and 4 friends, get a 1990 Sable with the 3.8 engine!
