2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Premium 3.0 V6 from North America
Summary:
Lemon lawed
Faults:
The suspension was off from factory, could not be adjusted, car always vibrated at highway speeds.
Moon roof broke 8 times in 8000 miles.
Leather seats were cracked by 7000 miles.
Switches for windows, door locks broke.
Window regulators were replaced.
And so on and so on and so on...
Poor poor dealer service.
General Comments:
The car was bought back under the terms of the Lemon law, this was the second lemon lawed Mitsubishi I had out of the 4 Mitsubishi's I have owned. It was agreed that I would never purchase another Mitsubishi again.
Mitsubishi has previously built great looking cars, but even the best looking lemons can be sour.
Avoid the car manufacturer at all costs unless you want problems, warranty nightmares, poor quality, horrible dealer service and bad resale values.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Hi!
I had a 1990 Galant 1.8TD and sold it with 171.xxx miles in it. I had almost no problems with it. I owned a Colt, no problems. My husband drives a 2004 Lancer Sedan (1.6). And I just bought an Eclipse GT.
I never had any real big problems with any of them... and all served well :)
I hope this experience you had is just one of those bad luck things : ( (
(PS.: all my mitsu's were European - as I live there - except my new GT)
