2002 Mitsubishi Space Wagon GDI 4WD 2.4 gasoline from Norway
Summary:
A comfortable, good car with plenty of space for up to 7 people
Faults:
The timing belt broke about 2 weeks after I got the car, with engine failure as a result. Engine and drivetrain were replaced.
After then the car behaved relatively well for several years.
Problems included brake disks getting warped, and calipers having to get replaced. This may partly be blamed on excessive salting of Norwegian roads. Except from this, only minor repairs to the windshield wipers and polishing of headlights, among the issues that I remember.
General Comments:
The car had a good sound system and used down to 0.7 litres of gasoline per 10 km, with a family of 5 persons inside.
The car was recently sold, and I miss the great space inside the cabin, where 7 grown ups could have comfortable space.
All in all, a good car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
