1980 Nissan 200SX 2.0 4 cylinder from North America

Faults:

Exhaust rusted easily.

The springs were sagging - never bothered to replace them.

Drive shaft went.

Brakes, Tires.

I believe it still had the original clutch!?

I loved this car, and never fully appreciated just how good it was until I sold it and bought other cars.

Rear drive is a blast, it shifted quite well, the engine sounded great, it didn't understeer too badly when pushed hard. Plenty of room with the hatch back. Wonderfully hideous powder blue paint that held up incredibly.

I was insane to sell this car. All it really needed was a new clutch.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I'm glad that you've had great luck on your Datsun 200SX, you definitely don't see very many of them around and they're one of Japan's most under-appreciated cars of all time, I'm a big fan of the late 70's/early 80's Datsun 200SX's, although I don't have a car or a driver's license, I would like to get myself an early 80's Datsun 200SX.
