Hi-Ho 350 Z enthusiasts. Just an update on the New Z. After a long road trip to Florida, all I needed to do was change the oil and rotate the tires. On a whim I decided to drive to Miami for summer vacation. Sun, fun, crystal-blue ocean, 1/2 naked women and my Z. I just can't say anything bad about the 2003 Nissan Z. Except maybe that I could only get 2 beach bunnies in the passenger seat. Had to leave the 3rd one behind. She was HOT too. I love this car. I STRONGLY suggest owning one. If not for the driving experience... do it for the beach bunnies!

Sure, and then you woke up and 2 big guys named Bubba were in the car with you and they promptly requested your keys and wallet which you promptly surrendered. :)

I totally agree on that one.

I’ve been driving my 04 350z performance edition for about 6 months now. I only wanted the Performance or Enthusiast edition because the car requires a limited slip diff for maximum performance and it's standard on those models. I did have some problems with tire wear. I swapped out the OEM tires for a set of Cooper Zeon’s. The Coopers are inexpensive and do the job, I’ll be happy if I get 10k out of them.

I find the car a very easy car to drive and very forgiving. I’m getting good feedback thur the car which feels like it was machined using a piece of billet steal. This car is rock solid. I especially like the drive by wire system used for the throttle, I get instant response. Don’t bother taking a trip to the redline. The stock 3.5 liter V6 has had it and you’re of the power band. Basically I love the car although it needs more power to be potent. I've addressed that problem by adding the complete APS single turbo kit with a complete off road APS Exhaust system. The boost pressure is set very low at 6 pounds. My other car is a 2000 Chevy Camaro Z28 (LS1) with the SS package. Prior to the upgrades the Z28 smoked the Nissan in a straight line, now it’s a totally different story.

Hi peope, I'm thinking of a 350z track spec 2003 model, but just can't decide between a 350z or an Accord Euro R or an STi v9. Anyone know which is better??

Dude above, you are comparing a FWD, AWD, and a RWD. Those are three totally different cars and driving experience.

But if you wish to compare, here goes. The Z would give you better NA performance over the EURO but comes with burning way more gas. It is RWD and is way more fun than any FWD car.

However, the FWD EURO is a Honda, and aftermarket support is unlimited for Hondas in the NA field.

As for the bad, bad Subaru STI, out of the box this would be the quickest on the quarter.

However, depending on which on you get, on a rolling start the Z should be able to take the non-300HP STIs. But keep in mind the STI is a factory boosted engine and it is AWD so quick touches and neither the Z or the EURO R can walk anywhere near it.

Boost rules! With that said, I would take the STI because with just another 5 PSI and intake/exhaust and some tuning you have a high 12 second car right there.
