2007 Nissan Almera 1.6 from Peru

Summary:

OK

Faults:

Very load "Clank" noise from automatic transmission when entering reverse. Mostly when cold but occasionally can also be heard when moving slowly in drive or when shifting. Vehicle only has 1500 kilometers. Dealer is providing warranty service but will need to remove, inspect and repair transmission. Not a nice experience with a brand new vehicle.

General Comments:

For an economical small car it's OK.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I'd like to add that it's a very reliable car. Mine is 2007 SG. I bought it brand new. It's not the best car to buy if you want gas mileage, the motor is too small (1600 cc). The car space is not convenient for 7 feet tall guys like me. My knees have started to hurt, and since I bought it, when I shift into reverse, the car cranks. Never went to see what it was, and never had a problem with it. It has run 120 k right now. It's an ideal city car for small people.
