UPDATE:
I had an oil change yesterday at almost 30,000 miles. The car has original everything. My next scheduled need will be new front and rear brakes/rotors I think it said on the record. The Rogue is doing well; still on OEM battery, got tires replaced in Sept 2020 and TPMS sensor replacement last October. Also had a small issue with my driver's seat, which wouldn't move forward, thought it needed a motor, was told screw or something was stuck, now it works fine again. I'm the original owner for 7 years, and hope to keep this car as long as possible.

Original poster: I just had the recall taken care of. Took it in to the dealership this morning, getting the wiring harness fixed under the recall, when I received a letter almost eight months ago about a recall alert on 2014-2016 Rogues; Nissan sent me another recall notice letting know the parts were available so I scheduled an appointment to get it fixed. Only thing they did was a service tech greased something in the wiring harness; thought would take at least an hour or two. Sat in the dealer for maybe few seconds or so, and it was on the ticket what was done.
Now over 30,000 miles, the car is still doing well, no issues, will continue giving updates on my Rogue on any problems or how the car is still doing. At this time it's still running on the OEM battery and brakes now at over 30,000 miles.

Original poster: Today just had an oil change at 34,000 miles; so amazed that the car is doing well; haven't had any issues in the last 8 years of ownership. I love the car so much.
I'm surprised it's still running on the OEM brakes and battery. The service rep told me my brakes wouldn't need replacing until maybe late this year or sometime next year; kind of tired so forgot at this moment.
When taken in for an oil change, I was afraid they might find something wrong with my car; everything was fine, the lady showed me all the things on the record, and even explained it to me, so I am a happy camper.
Nissan uses CVTs that have been problematic in the late 2000s to mid 2010s; think they've been fixed in later years. My 2015 Rogue CVT still works great.
I am planning on keeping my car long as possible. My only concern is I hope it never gets into an accident; I'm always aware of my surroundings when driving on the highway with bad drivers, as after leaving the dealership going by Walmart, I had to watch a motorist who almost came out in front of me. I know for fact the insurance company would write it off being an older car, especially being it's a 2015, but I would desperately find parts off another 2014-16 model for my 2015 Rogue.
The Rogue still drives smooth, it's a very reliable car. I think it's a beautiful vehicle and very comfortable, having a cozy interior. Even the design of the exterior looks sleek (in black).
The car handles well, and having a small engine with just a 170hp 4 banger, it takes off quick. I've heard a few Rogue owners say the same thing about them; they are very quick on the highway; even passing response, as I drove on a two-lane highway when getting my Rogue serviced at a dealership over 62 or 63 miles away from where I live, since there's not one near me, though one across another state; I just take it where I bought it from for all oil changes, recalls etc.
The Rogue has done me well over the years as I treated it well also with all oil changes, fluids and maintenance as needed, keeping the car road worthy. I don't do a lot of driving like traveling out of state; I just drive it around town essentially. It gets decent gas mileage and is a really peppy vehicle that is reliable for me to own and drive. I am very happy with the Rogue; so blessed it hasn't given me any mechanical problems.
I will be doing more updates posted about changes with my 2015 Rogue.

Yesterday, I had an oil change at 35,000 miles. It’s been almost a year since I’ve done any updates, but the car is doing well, and I’ve had no issues. I was never informed if anything needed to be replaced on the car.
The other night, I prayed for a good mechanic to work on my Rogue. The dealership isn’t what it used to be since one of the service techs retired and the owner passed away. I still have the original brakes and am running on the same battery. If it dies, I will not be using Nissan’s batteries from the dealer, as I’ve heard they’re not good.
I truly love this car, even though it’s a Nissan, and I’m very proud of how well it’s serving me. I also saw a Facebook group for Rogue owners where they posted reviews and photos of their Rogues. These cars do have common issues like leaking moonroofs, wiring harness problems, and CVT transmission issues. This generation is considered the worst, but I think the 2021-2024 models are better. The 2023 models had problems with a gas smell, but I hope they fixed a few bugs on 2024 models. The second generation has aged well; my old 2015 still looks like she has rolled out the assembly line (these babies are made in Smyrna Tenn.).
Nissan is a great brand. I would recommend checking on the manufacturer build date stamped at the bottom of the driver's door to see if it's Renault-Samsung; it would be in black stamped; those are problematic, well probably not all of them. MFD Nissan Motor Co. are better, not only the Rogue but other vehicles. The trucks are very reliable though, well maybe it's not like that anymore, don't get me wrong Nissan's are great though; after the Ghosn situation they have recovered.
These Rogues are very popular since the second generation. I love looking at the FB Group for these cars; seem owners truly love theirs as I do with mine. This car is my baby and I will be keeping her as long as possible until God calls me home.
My Rogue has been very reliable, especially since changing the oil. The car rides smoother and still has good engine power and handling. I haven’t addressed any problems, except for a minor issue where the driver’s seat won’t move forward. I think it might be a motor issue. The dealer wanted to charge me a high fee in parts and labor, but thankfully, the technician fixed it without any charges.
I am in the process of finding another dealer, which is sad because the current dealer used to be good before the owner passed away. They do maintenance and oil changes on my car. My next oil change will be at a different dealer.
Overall, the car hasn’t had any problems after 9 years and now has 35,140 miles on it. I know I’ll be racking up more miles when I take it to another city for service since there isn’t one close to me. I thank God this car is doing well without any issues. I did some research and found that these Rogues have common issues. I know someone who had a lot of problems with their Rogue, which is the same generation as mine. With my paranoia, I’ll be checking the moonroof, A/C leaks, and keeping a close eye on the CVT, which is still doing well. I have it serviced with oil changes and tire rotations.
Now, there is one thing I’m not sure about. If I ran over something and one of the tires gets low, the TPS light comes on. It happened yesterday, so I guess I’ll have to take it to a tire shop. With a few minor issues like the driver’s seat not moving forward and the low TPMS light, I guess the car is running well.
I am afraid to buy a new car because of the pandemic. So many are having recalls and they’re not as good as they used to be. That’s why I’m very strict about keeping my Rogue serviced with all oil changes, tire rotations, and fluids. I still haven’t replaced the brakes, battery, or spark plugs, but I believe I should have those replaced. So far, with my update, the car is doing well. It rides like new and even has that new car smell. I keep it under a metal carport to protect it from the weather in spring, winter, and fall. I think I did another great review of my 2015 Rogue.

UPDATE:
I've received something in mail of class action lawsuit with CVTs, Nissan will pay the cost. So, no worries, I am at 28,457 miles, checked the mileage when on my way to the barber shop, my Rogue rides smooth. I did get the extended warranty after the vehicle was close to being paid-off, so I'm good.
