2001 Nissan Sentra GXE 1.8 from North America
Summary:
Nissan Sentra 2001 GXE = poor quality
Faults:
1 - Driver's side window regulator
2 - Battery changed
3 - Computer
4 - 2 ignition coils
5 - Tachometer jumping
6 - Now feels like it's "missing" while driving... especially on the highway at cruising speeds.
General Comments:
I can't begin to stress enough how poor this car is. I had originally bought this car because I had a Nissan previously and had NO problems. Now, just when I think it's going stop giving me problems something else happens. I've been reading through the forum and am trying to decide what to look at first in terms of fixing the tachometer jumping and the "missing" feeling while driving.
I would sell this car, but who buy it?
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I am the original owner.
Today I spent $823.00 to repair a wire harness because my car would not start.
3 weeks ago my horn and audio was not working, so the wiring harness below the battery had 3 wires corroded worth $823.00.
Anyone that has symptoms like mine, horn may go first then audio. I'll bet next you won't be able to start the car.
Repair yourself; the fuse box close to the battery. The wire cable from that box that goes down beside the battery about 1 foot down.
