2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R 2.5 from North America

Summary:

Excellent

Faults:

Nothing at all.

General Comments:

An incredible car, at a very low price. I have had absolutely no repairs at all. It has extremely high torque in low gears, not for the first time stick driver. Comes with Continental Z rated tires standard on 17" wheels. Tires are very expensive at $250 apiece, so make sure you keep them rotated and properly inflated. If you are even 5 pounds low in a tire, the car will pull violently when driving at high speeds. Uses oil for some reason, but not excessively. No leaks, or burning, but does use about a quart a month. Otherwise an incredible ride.

2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R 2.5 inline 4 from North America

Summary:

A mini-muscle car for the price of a compact car

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

This car has fantastic torque and acceleration due to its larger-than- normal in class 2.5 litre engine (175 pound-feet), which enables it to move from a stop very quickly and to accelerate from 55 miles per hour to passing speed and climb hills/grades in roads without strain or high revving of the engine.

The handling, road grip, lateral acceleration (i.e., suspension) and steering on this car are fantastic, worthy of a much more expensive sports sedan (Acura-BMW). It has large diameter front and rear anti-sway bars, a strut tower brace, independent McPherson struts up front and a multi-link beam suspension in the rear which all work great together.

The braking on this car is great with front and rear disc brakes; large 11-inch vented discs in front and 4-wheel, 4-channel ABS (anti-lock brake system).

In addition, the Rockford-Fosgate, 300 Watt, 9-speaker with 8-inch boxed subwoofer in trunk system is fantastic (Audio Fanatic Package) and I love the SE-R emblem floor mats that came with the car.

Mini muscle butt car (glutes)

Muscle car my butt! This car makes me cringe after owning Cadillacs, Mercedes, and other fine vehicles. No pick up at all!

2002 Nissan Sentra GXE from North America

Summary:

A Decent Car with An Affordable Payment!

Faults:

Nothing yet. Have had the car brand new for a week. Only thing I notice is the rear end is a little noisier than most for it's size.

General Comments:

So far I love this car. It's getting good gas mileage and is shifting nicely. Seats are comfortable and at least you can manually adjust them, more than I can say for some competing cars in this class right now. Was considering buying new Hyundai Elantra, but felt I was getting the better car in the Nissan for not much more a month, plus better gas mileage, which is important to me.
