1994 Oldsmobile Aurora V8 from North America
Summary:
Beautiful Car with a lot of Issues
Faults:
Don't have my maintenance file here with me while I write this review, so I don't have exact dates & mileage information, but I've had several problems with this car, including:
Fuel Rail (three)
Fuel Regulator.
Oxygen Sensor.
Cruise Control Stopped Working.
Transmission started slipping at 80,000 miles.
Starter went bad.
There's plenty more that I don't recall at the moment...
General Comments:
First let me say that I think this is a great LOOKING car, with a fabulous interior.
However, it's expensive to maintain, as it requires Premium gasoline, and holds 7-1/2 quarts of oil. And nothing on this car is cheap or easy to repair! Small wonder Oldsmobile went out of business. I think this car in particular is a perfect example of why people buy Toyota's!
It's unfortunate that American auto makers just pale in comparison to the Japanese. I however never have, and especially post 9/11, never will drive a foreign car! I LOVE my big gas-guzzling-expensive-to-repair-AMERICAN car!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

First and last American Car, Actually the 94 model is the 95. The car was released in late 94 as a 95 model. I know this because I have the 94/95 model. And I'll tell ya what. I have sunk over 15k into this car... The transmission went out twice. everytime Its been in the shop never seems to be under 1k to fix it. I bought the car, enjoying the roomy interior, and comfy ride. But I'm not happy with myself doing the consumer report after purchasing the car. live and learn. THIS CAR SHOULDA NEVER MADE IT INTO PRODUCTION, Way to go GM engineers. lost my business for life.

This sounds like a phony review from some arrogant stuck up Toyota fan (i.e. an obnoxious troll) that just wants to flame on these boards. The following segment from the review explains it;
"Small wonder Oldsmobile went out of business. I think this car in particular is a perfect example of why people buy Toyota's!

Those comments, and the fact that this review is for a "1994" Aurora of which there is no such thing. At least get your facts straight if you're going to write a false review.
