I think that there is NO better car than a Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I bought my Cutlass and I loved it so much that I named it. True enough, my car gave me a few problems. But that was only after I placed her in the wrong hands. If you don't take care of your car it will give you problems. I know that the Cutlass has got to be one of the best built cars in America because even after all the abuse that she endured she still keeps kicking. There has never been a time that I have tried to start my car and she failed me!

I think that the 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass is a great car. I've got a 4 door SL with a 3.1 multi port engine and an overdrive tranny in it, that has 225,345 miles on it and it runs great! I got it when the odometer read 212,226 miles and have done nothing to it but oil changes and one tune up, basically only maintenance steps has kept it running since I got it. So is the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL a good car? YES! I think so couldn't be without it! EXCELLENT CAR!

I own a 1992 Cutlass Supreme Convertible (are these rare?), haven't seen any others, but mine is doing fine for me. It has 137000 miles on it, I purchased it with 119000 and I really haven't done all that much.
BTW it has the 3.1 engine. I've heard the 3.4 is hard to work on. My local mechanic refuses to work on my Grandma's which is a 1994 Cutlass Supreme SL. Hers has the 3.4 with 82000 miles and the alternator went at 65K, and the timing belt at 80K. Other than that, it's been a good car.

I've got a 94 cutlass supreme with a 3.4 and I can't find anything that would be remotely considered a hot rod part for this car... not even things like big brake kits, or computer chips. if anyone can help me pls send me a link. ty.

I have owned a 92 olds cutlass for the past 5 years and the only problem has been the rear disc brakes which I was warned about. They have given me trouble. My wife loved this car and it has been very dependable. Acquired at 22,000 miles. 89,00 miles at this time. My mother-in-law was the previous owner and parked it under a car port in a damp area. This caused premature rusting underneath. The other day the frame under the front end broke and my wife lost steering and braking. Thank goodness she was on a back road and no one was hurt. I still think it was a good car and always ran great. Anybody need a good engine and trans or a complete 92 cutlass with a broken frame?

Another money pit. Electronic dash has some weird electrical problem causing it to malfunction. Oops! Maybe they should have used an analog fuel gauge!
