2007 Opel Corsa Sport 1.4 from Finland
Summary:
Finally Opel makes quality cars
Faults:
Nothing so far.
General Comments:
The car is the sport model with 1.4 petrol engine. The sport means it has 16" alloy wheels, sportier seats and some other little details.
Sport also means the gearing is a bit shorter than in the other Corsa versions but the engine is still the same. That equals in faster acceleration but in the motorways the engine revs higher which leads to a bit higher consumption. And about the acceleration it really isn't that fast to be honest but enough if only the driver on board and you rev the engine high.
Where the sport word is most justified is the way it takes the corners. You can push it really hard and it takes the bends with a slight oversteer if you have able hands. The suspension still isn't too hard on bumpy surface but if you like confort over a bit of sportiness you should go for some other Corsa model. Steering is on the fast side and some may find it too light.
Interior is really nice altough typically plasticy like many new cars these days. Seats are firm and give good support. You can travel longer distances too without too much pain. Overall the interior has much better quality than what Opel used to have.
All in all the newest Corsa is much better car than the old one in every aspect. It's still a small car but if you don't need the extra space the Corsa is a great car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Me again, I forgot to add that the radio is a bit hard to figure out (lots of buttons) and the wiper control arm is also bit hard to figure out.
