I have a Peugeot 307CC; window and roof seals leaking; been back to garage many times; was told not to use pressure hose on seals! Would have been a good thing to have been told that when I bought the car from new.

I bought one used (2004 model), with 60,000 kilometers on the clock last year! But it still drives like a dream. The car looks hot from the back *those lights*, especially with the top down. The Roof works perfectly and the drive is always smooth.
The only annoying faults I have is the 'shift shock' that all Peugeots 206s and 307s seem to have and the windows: First the sensors are to sensitive and you have to remember to lock the door when you go through an automatic car wash or you'll get soaked and second... on occasion the windows won't respond, and go down and sometimes stay down on their own will. I thought it was because my car is 'old', but it seems to be an issue with news cars as well :-s.

307cc - Worse car I have ever bought. Major problems with engine, now the roof is leaking. Will never touch a Peugeot again once I sell this car - if I ever sell it.

Lovely looking car but niggly ongoing problems that have been looked at but not 'cured'. There is an alert that will go off regularly. Just driving over a bump in the road can set it off and it will keep alerting until the roof is put down and back up. Garage insists there isn't a problem!! Yeah right! There is an alert that has shown up 3 times this year which sets the engine management light off and alert saying ' anti-pollution problem... again garage insists no fault can be found and merely required a software update. Guess what? It's happened again. And the door can leak when it rains. And the noisy wipers mentioned by another owner....yep! I have those too. Unbelievable noise and again the garage can't see a problem

This is the worse car I have ever purchased, and the after sales service supplied by Peugeot is dreadful.
Lots of problems such as the water leaks in doors and roof as mentioned above, noisy, had loads of safety recalls and I hear that there are more on the way.
Wouldn't touch another Peugeot even if it was given to me free of charge.

I also have the 2005 307 cc and have the windows going up down own that inch or so in quick succession when I get in. It has only just started - just when the 3yr warranty runs out. Really annoying but at least it stops once the central locking kicks in.

Mine is a 2006 version... "bouncing" driver/passenger door glass - they drop 10-15mm and bounce back many times of their own accord, Been back to dealer 5 times! ABS/ESP warning lights keep coming on (although, touch-wood, that has now been cured), Boot 307 "0" button has attitude, sometimes refusing to function at all (and yes... I 'lost' my keys in the boot to that fault too.
Who else designs a car that allows a torrent of water to fill the seat pocket when you open the door in the rain? My right leg is constantly damp thanks to this car and rainy days. Engine sucks... literally! It sucked up enough water through the air intake to write of the motor, all from a section of flooded road no deeper than 6 inches (150mm)!
AND... why have I got water (condensation) INSIDE the headlamp units.
Why did my roof seize halfway up?
Why did I buy a Pug 307cc?
BECAUSE... it is beautiful when the roof is down and the sun is out. Sigh...

All very common faults. In 8 months, my roof is faulty, roof has leaked, ABS/esp fault x3!!! window handle sensors been changed x2! window alignment re done. Wouldn't start 3 times. The list is endless I'm afraid and only 19k miles.

My wife has owned one of these since new (04.2006). It's shown all the same problems, except a sticking roof. The 3 year warranty is about to run out and we don't know what to do. I can't get a price, at the moment off our Pug dealer for an extended warranty! The car is great in the summer with the roof down, this and its looks are its only redeeming features.

Bought my 307cc new in August 06, ESP warning light has a mind of its own, driver's window does not always go up/down using the door switch, band changer on the radio does not always work.
Worst of all the boot refused to lock, meaning I could not close the roof or lock the car, dealer was totally disinterested but did finaly agree to have look. Advised me that bolts in the folding roof had worked loose, he fixed the problem using "lock-tight"!! Now the boot doesn't open /close properly. If only I had the faith to take it back to the dealer yet again!! But for all that I love my 307.

I purchased a 307cc with my girlfriend just recently (Dec 08). It's a fab looking car, but it has its annoying faults which the garage can't sort because they are intermittent.
The main one which is getting us down, is it only starts up on three cylinders most of the time when it's cold, which in turn brings up the ECU warning light saying cat failure, emissions failure, which disappears after a day or so.
Also the roof sounds noisy.
Would not recommend anyone buying a pug again.

Had a new 307 from new 06, always purchased 206s and they have been fantastic, but went for the the larger 307s, well wished I had read the reviews before!!!
Thought it was just a Friday afternoon car, but it has faults everywhere; 12000 miles on clock for 3 years (4000 per year), anti pollution light, what a pain, has been in 11 times for various faults and the famous download needed to clear it. Guess what, it's going in again!!
Now the seat belts don't retract, the key doesn't work, the head gasket is leaking, windows have a mind of their own. Shall I go on??
By the way, the dealer has been superb in trying to sort it, so no problem there, just a crap car. Will get rid as soon as the deal comes to an end.

Bought this car new in 06, and the minute the warranty ran out, I have had nothing but trouble.
The ESP light also cost me €400 to fix, except it didn't fix it and the problem has happened 3 times since.
Then my main problem is about every 3 months it just won't start. De-pollution sensor shows and after a day or two or maybe a few hours it will just start again. Garage (main dealer) says it cannot figure out fault! At my wits end. Does any one else have this problem or knows what I should do?

Peugeot 307cc leaking roof and back window. 5 times back to Peugeot. Must be a fault in 307cc.
