1996 Peugeot 605 2.0 Turbo 2.0 turbo from Lithuania
Summary:
The best car for driver
Faults:
The main problem which occurs time to time - the "check engine LED" which goes of after few seconds.
And there were no other problems (electronics are OK).
Some leaking of air conditioner.
General Comments:
The superb car.
I have bought it like "second had". The car was from Switzerland, so after few months I have replaced the clutch.
Installed LPG - and having no problems with that.
The car is quick, good acceleration in higher speeds.
However, top speed only 200 (on docs - 210).
Fuel consumption - average, which is 10 km/liter - almost the same for other 2.0 liter petrol engines.
Drives smooth, but the steering is a bit hard.
The trunk is very spacious.
Overall - very good car for a good price.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Brilliant, soporifique-I just bought my first 605,complementing my lovely 604 and daily drive 505 SRDt.
The only car that feels like the 605 is the Bentley Brooklands 1990s..Peugeot marketing in Australia has been run by dimwits... what a shame they did a worse job than was done with the 604.I met one of the marketing guys from Peugeot Aus.-Sime Darby, I told him what a disapointing job they were doing with the 607.All they want to sell seems to be 307s.What a shame.
