Faults:
There has been absolutely nothing wrong with this car, except I recently rear-ended another car at about 10mph. I was on gravel and had to make an immediate merge due to ZERO warning signs at a construction site. There was gravel on pavement, and I bumped into a vehicle in front of me because he couldn't merge either. With that, I only lost a little paint.
Obviously, this is not a problem with the car, just a personal account of disappointment in damaging my beautiful car.
General Comments:
This care is fun to drive. I've let two other people drive it (including my wife), and they both wanted to get rid of their current cars to get a G6. My wife is always snagging my car to run her errands.
The electronic steering makes for a very smooth experience in the drive. It tightens up when you build up speed, but in slow situations, it turns easily and makes a very comfortable drive.
The throttle is also electronic (I think), and is extremely responsive. There is a noticeable difference in how the throttle works.
The engine is PLENTY for me. I used to drag race professionally, and I like a car with spunk, but not so much that I lose my wallet in the gas tank. The G6 3.5L seems to accomplish the task of giving you the spunk AND the fuel economy.
It handles very nicely at high speeds and on sharp curves. The ride is very smooth, yet has a sporty feel.
The interior is sweet. It has a modern feel with nice gauges. I have the 6 disc player with information center, and I'll never want to go without ever again. The mesh fiber is breathable and nice looking. The solid black is very sharp looking, but obviously shows up everything, so keep 'er clean.
The exterior speaks for itself. It is a very sharp looking car and turns heads.

I am an owner of a G6 as well and would agree that the journalists hate American cars. My daughter, who was a Honda prelude owner, loved my car and said it shifted better than hers (I agreed). I have not driven a better car in its price range, yet. All my passengers love the car too! All around, you can't beat it!
