I use my car collection more. It takes me 9-10 years at that mileage. This is not uncommon with classics to exotics. A show or parade once in a while. But they’re there is the rationale to break out when you feel like it. Daily driver guys or mostly work mode vehicle usage individuals may not grasp this.

I saw that too. Keeping a car sitting most of the time instead of being used moderately at least, will cause a few problems.

I agree, just search for sale any 80s or even 90s exotic sports cars; lucky if they have 40,000 total miles on them. Collectors like that and like to keep them under 100,000 for re-sale in future.

I don't even take my vaguely sporty and relatively expensive second car that is an old Mercedes S-class out for a drive often because; #1 it already has 100k plus miles on it, #2 I don't want dents on it from careless non-car people at shopping malls carelessly loading up their cars, #3 I get comments like this also - people saying why do I keep it when I drive it so little? Well because I enjoy every second even more when I do drive it, and it is worth it; cruising along deserted roads in a nice car is what driving is all about, not just commuting.

Both cars mentioned do not command high resale or a premium investment at the moment. I would buy, use and simply enjoy as driver quality automobiles.
