2015 Seat Toledo TSi Style 1.2 petrol from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Mediocre, but a cheap to run reliable car
Faults:
Front shocks and wheel bearings.
Rear exhaust.
Rear wiper stuck, a very common fault.
Servicing and belt changes.
General Comments:
I always liked the look of these and knew they were popular as taxis, so for a private purchase I thought it would be a good bet.
Decided on petrol as I really do not need diesel. This engine already manages 45 - 52 mpg anyway (taking it slow) and is smooth and quiet. Pretty fast also for a 1.2 petrol.
The car is pretty boring to drive however, handles OK but the seats are not very supportive and the ride is too harsh.
Interior is nice and stylish, good visibility.
All in all not a bad car, but hardly a memorable one. Worth considering if you just need cheap basic transport and aren't too fussed about excitement.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
