General Comments:

It's small, it's a bit unrefined, cramped and not very fast.

But if you want a capable city car that won't break the bank, the Citigo is for you.

Very modern and funky.

Smart in black with alloy wheels.

Interior is nicely styled. But, I'm slim, about 5'10 tall and find there is only JUST enough room. If you are well over 6 foot, look elsewhere.

1.0 petrol doing between 40 - 50 mpg and I drive fast, so cannot say fairer than that! OK to drive.

A fun little car, but nothing special.

General Comments:

The Citigo is a funky little hatch that looks very smart. Mine is red with black alloys and grey side stripe.

I thought my old VW Polo was sharp, but this car drives even better. Handles like it is on rails. 1.0 engine is nippy enough and can get 60 mpg regularly. Stunning for a petrol engine.

Not very comfortable or much space, but what can you say, looking at the car's dimensions, this is a city car for a young couple or lone wolf.

"Monte Carlo" trim has plenty of electric features.

Modern, reliable, cool little car, well worth a look.

General Comments:

2 years into the other half's ownership of her 1.2 Fabia, she started thinking about a replacement. As the offspring had flown the nest, and I had obtained a 4x4, she decided that an even smaller car was adequate for her needs. We had been hearing good things about the Citigo and its VW cousin, the Up!, so we had a quick look online, then went for a test drive. Suitably impressed, she ordered a new Citigo there and then.

The first thing was the long waiting time from order to delivery; the car was ordered in late September and didn't arrive until late January, but the day arrived and off we headed.

First impressions were that the Citigo is tiny, yes it is, but inside it was surprisingly roomy, even for my 6'1 frame. The rear seats are quite small, but it's really not meant to be a family car. It has a typically Skoda plastic feel to the interior, although the interior is dominated by the massive speedometer, with a tiny rev counter and fuel gauge on either side. The seats get a bit hard after an hour, but it's a city car, so that's no big deal.

Driving the car is fun, it has kart like handling and the little 3 cylinder engine gives a good account of itself. The gearbox is adequate, but the best thing is the economy; on a run, driving half sensibly, it's easy to get over 60 MPG, and even round town you're getting 50 odd miles to the gallon. It will sit all day at 70mph if you're willing to pay the price at the pumps.

All in all a great little car.
