2005 Suzuki Reno 2.0 4 cylinder from North America
Summary:
Decent little grocery getter
Faults:
Water pump failed (replaced under warranty), steering wheel vibrates excessively at speeds over 65 mph, a few areas where the interior is peeling, some paint fading.
General Comments:
My wife's car. Great for around town and roomy for an econobox. I especially like the headroom and trunk space.
It's been pretty reliable, especially for its price range. We had to have the head gasket replaced at 70,000 miles because the water pump failed, and my wife just kept going until she saw steam! We had to wrestle with Suzuki over that fact, but in the end they took care of us.
The interior has a few weak spots that are cracking and fading, but we live in Florida and it gets hot. The paint is fading in a few spots as well, and there's some cracking in the clear coat. Yes, I do use Armor All and wax.
There is an annoying front end shake at high speeds that we can't get rid of, and believe me, we tried everything; it's just the way it was designed. The dealerships in our area are closed now, hence the low dealer rating.
Not the best car ever made, but far from the worst I'm sure. For the right price, a good value.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I had the same exact problems with my car. My car didn't even last 6 months. Problems consisted of the air bags, check engine light, air conditioner install incorrectly so they had to cut metal out from the bottom, transmission problems, issues with wires and so on. My advice is to stay far away from any Suzuki dealership.
