1985 Suzuki Swift GS 1.3 from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Like it says on the back, it's SWIFT
Faults:
Jumping a hump-backed bridge caused my exhaust to snap along with my shock absorber.
My clutch just died from prolonged abuse.
A spot of rust here or there.
General Comments:
I love this car, perhaps because it's my first car, but it has character.
I've only ever seen one other with the red/white paint job.
The acceleration is amazing for a car of its age; I beat a friends Seat Ibiza 1.4 in a short rally circuit.
The only thing I would say is the centre of gravity is quite high, causing high-speed cornering to be a dicey situation.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Great fun, but the power snapped my drive shaft. Oh and I leave most 1.6 cars on the spot.

I've owned 3 of those in the past 10 years. it was also my first car. the first I owned has done about everything a car is not supposed to do. It went swimming (twice), jumping, etc. It still ran after 370.000 kms, when I took it apart.
