2000 Toyota Camry CE 2.2L 4 cylinder from North America
Summary:
Absolutely amazingly reliable and trouble free, but boring as can be
Faults:
Battery died. That's it.
General Comments:
The most reliable, trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. 94,000 miles and never needed anything replaced except for battery and tires. I would not have hesitated to drive it around the world. More reliable than a refrigerator. Or an atomic clock. Still had original brake pads. Still looked like new inside and out. Only thing I ever did was change the oil, wash it and put gas in it.
The only reason I got rid of it was because it was the most boring car I have ever driven. I firmly believe if I would have kept it, that thing would have easily gone another 100k miles without any problems. I literally wanted to fall asleep every time I drove it. I don't know how they did it, but Toyota managed to make a car that had no feeling or involvement whatsoever. It was a highly competent car, and it was smooth in every way. The engine was so smooth you couldn't really tell if the car was turned on or not.
The perfect car for people who want the most reliable, trouble free transportation to get them from point A to point B.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I'd rather have an occasional breakdown in order to love driving a great car daily. Put the top down and take a really fun scenic winding back road on the way home from work. Enjoying the upcoming fall weather.
