2010 Toyota RAV4 Limited 3.5L V6 from North America
Summary:
Well made SUV, that handles like a sedan with a power kick from its V6
Faults:
Nothing so far, but it's a fairly new car with only 5600 miles on it.
Leather interior started to fade and dry out, but that could be attributed to the summer sun, and the car being parked outside the house.
General Comments:
I was shopping for small SUV. I drove 3 cars; the Honda CR-V, Subaru Outback, and Toyota Rav4.
I was originally planning on getting a CR-V, since my girlfriend has a Civic, and is extremely happy with her car, but after driving Outback, I absolutely fell in love with the way they drive. However after reading some comments Subaru owners posted about their 3-4 year old cars having a head gasket problems right after warranty period ran out, I decided to focus on the Toyota and CR-V.
The only reason I got a Toyota is a V6 engine that gets practically same gas mileage as the I4 in the CR-V. Also, the fit and finish of Toyota seemed a lot better "less flimsy" than in the CR-V, and finally, both the engine and tranny were made in Japan, while the CR-V's engine and tranny were produced in USA.
Overall, I liked RAV4 way better than CR-V. Power, handling and comfort all went to the RAV4.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
