I am the original reviewer. Unfortunately, I reached the point where the economics of fixing the van outweighed the benefits. This was my favorite car to date, and I was sad to see it go. I sold it to Carshop for $2,500. In no particular order, it needed the following items "soon":
- Front struts (knew about from May 2020).
- Power steering rack (knew about from May 2020).
- Brake rotors all around.
- Front brake pads (I replaced the back since the last comment).
- New tires all around (knew this for some time
now).
The van still drove beautifully, but my tenure with it ended at 142,321 miles. I just didn't drive it enough in my own personal use case to justify keeping it.
I'd definitely consider another Sienna. I still love this platform and I'm glad to have owned it the short time I did. Easily the most comfortable and best-driving car I've owned. I was sad to leave this beautiful, beautiful machine behind.

I am the original reviewer. The Sienna now has 141,949 miles. I had an independent mechanic replace the timing belt and water pump kit for about $870 earlier this spring.
The next order of business is probably going to be replacing the tires, and then the battery.
I've been keeping an eye on the use of power steering fluid, and when I measure it, I can never tell that any fluid was used. There are occasionally some teardrops of fluid underneath that side of the van.
Fuel economy (50/50 mixed city/highway) is a steady 21 MPG, per my calculation.
One gripe I have is that I wish all the screens (odometer, radio, clock, overhead, etc) all had the blue font and black background (like the clock does). I personally think the blue font on black is easier to read AND is more pleasing aesthetically.
