2005 Toyota Yaris colour collection 1.3 from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Nippy, reliable good looking spacious little car
Faults:
Nothing so far still early days. Noisy wipers.
General Comments:
Great little car no probs so far. Had for a few months now. Really nice to look at too.
Bought it brand new. Occasionally the brakes squeak, but after the problems I had with my last car cannot complain in the slightest.
Good for long distances sits well at 70.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I bought a brand new 1.3 yesterday, after spending a week comparing specs for similar cars scrupulously, and I am confident I got the best car in its class. Good fuel consumption, low insurance and a nippy engine. Feels surprisingly spacious inside and you feel quite high up when sat in it. Has some nifty space-saving devices inside - sliding rear seats, a tray under the passenger seat and a dual-opening glove box (although I was disappointed with the size of the glove box - it looked much bigger in the brochure!). The rear seats move forward and fold up flush with the front seats to provide loads of room in the boot, which is on the small side normally. I do agree with the comment re: the wipers though - quiet when it's raining lightly, but really loud in heavy rain. All in all though, so far, I'm really impressed - a big improvement on my last car!

Eliminate the wiper issue once and for all. Rain-X is a product designed for Formula one racing and can now be purchased at most auto parts stores. You will never need wipers again.

It is advisable to have the windscreen wipers replaced immediately with a brand. Sustained use may damage the surface and can be a safety hazard in heavy rain. Other than this the car is an excellent choice. One more thing - check the angle of the steering wheel - is it horizontal when driving straight?
