General Comments:

Aside a small number of faults with the body and oil tank, the Astra was a solid and sturdy car which withstood extensive use and a relatively high mileage.

Performance wasn't very exciting, but economy was fairly good.

Estate body shell was practical and contained a spacious interior.

Good value for money at £1,750 for a five year old estate car.

Value dropped to £800 in the space of two years.
