General Comments:

Dark blue Insignia, 2021 model. Very nice looking car!

I had an old silver 2011 1.8 SRi Insignia previous to this car, which I loved, so this car was an obvious next choice.

This new "Grand Sport" model is an all new car, not just a facelift. It has inherited all the good things about the old Insignia and ironed out any quirks of the older model. If I am being really picky the only negatives I can find are the rear headroom is still a bit limited for taller passengers, and the car is not noisy on the move, but not exactly the most refined or quiet in its class.

That all said, this is a stunning car to drive and own. Every journey is a pleasure. SRi trim is the one to have, mid range with enough modern electronics to keep you entertained. Like many I couldn't care less about the phone connectivity features or screen display (I prefer old school analogue controls) which it has for the climate control and other important features anyway. I can say with certainty anyone would find this car comfortable. Seats are very supportive, and the rear hatch is massive.

The 1.5 diesel is a fine choice. Not the fastest car in the world, but it will do over 50 miles per gallon regularly no matter how you drive it seems. I was going to go for petrol as I have heard modern diesels can be troublesome, but as long as you look after them well and drive long distances (that is what they are designed for) they hold up just fine.

As other have said, it is a shame they have stopped making these cars, they really offer soo much for a good price new or used.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
