2009 Volkswagen CrossFox Comfortline 1.6 from Argentina
Summary:
It's a good looking, fun and reliable car to enjoy
Faults:
Noisy interior from the start.
Speedometer stopped working after about a week of use. The dealer fixed it right away for free.
The plastic that covers the antenna broke (disintegrated completely) after three years. I replaced it myself very easily and it wasn't costly.
General Comments:
I'm happy with the car. I bought it brand new in 2009.
The car has proven to be fun and reliable, head and leg room is excellent, and it can easily fit drivers that are six feet and taller. Visibility is compromised by the pillars at each side of the windscreen, and it takes some time to get used to.
The rear seats are comfortable and can fit three adults comfortably on short trips, and two on long trips. The boot size is also decent for a hatchback.
The high suspension and 15 inch tires make it handle dirt roads (in good shape) without problems.
The engine is a an old 1.6 Audi 100 HP that VW has used in many models throughout the years. It is reliable, but relatively slow with only two valves per cylinder, and it's also thirsty.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I'm also amazed by the amount of modern cars with rattly interiors!
