Faults:

Had a misfire upon purchase, dealer sorted this under warranty.

The rest of the problems over the time I have had it are all down to wear and tear. The car is cheap enough to fix if you know a good independent garage; do not go to VW main dealers with a VW of this age if you want to save money!

General Comments:

I've had quite a few cars now in my ten years since passing my test, and this Scirocco ticks all the boxes!

Smart looking and modern for a 2010 car. Feels generations ahead. These must have been amazing when new, I bought mine used in 2018, but it still felt like a new car, and still does!

Great looking and comfortable. The GT model is a nice one. And the 2.0 petrol engine is the one to go for - simper than diesels. And better than the 1.4 TSi. This can still do a solid 35 mpg as well taking it easy.

Good to drive, sharp steering and responsive acceleration.

VERY comfortable and hard wearing quality interior. I amazed at its condition after so many years and miles. Seats are still very supportive.

VWs of this time can be expensive, but they are worth it if you get a good one!
