1998 Volvo S70 T5 2.3 from North America
Summary:
High performance, but worthless in the repair shop
Faults:
Door panels do not stayed glued down.
Right strut replaced.
Both front wheel bearings and the right axle were replaced.
Unknown brake failure requiring complete replacement of rear brakes and rotors.
General Comments:
This car drives great and handles well.
The T5 has great power and is exciting to drive.
Repairs are costly and it's hit or miss. I have had 3 of them and this one has really put me off.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I agree with your review. I came out of a BMW 325 coupe and into an S-70 T5.
I would never have considered the car until an old friend of mine at dealership took me out on the freeway in a T5 and told me to "stomp it". It jerked my head off! Felt like old muscle car!
I bought a loaded bright red car. all options!! I love it, and have had no problems at all except for turn signal bulbs which cleared up when replaced with glass plug variety. It's a keeper. Just turned three years and 32,000 miles!
