The Jeep Wrangler should be designed for reliability, but it is not.
It is a sad reflection that Toyota can manufacture cars such as the Camry that are well known to be reliable, while the Jeep Wrangler made by Chrysler has a long, long, list of serious reliability problems.
Chrysler is free-riding on the reputation of the Jeep name from many years ago.
If the Jeep won't drive down a paved road reliably, it most certainly won't go off-road.

The YJ's are extremely useless offroad. They have zero suspension flex and a trashy drivetrain. If you honestly think they are amazing, you have little to no experience offroad.
