No, I would say that there are a lot more foreign parts on many domestic vehicles today, but guess what; the profit made from those domestics stay in our economy instead of fattening up the Japanese.>.

Proof please. After all, GM just announced it is expanding its foreign operations to feed cars into America, and guess where that money is coming from?

The profits from the imports built here stay here since they are reinvested. Or where did you think Toyota is getting the money to build FIVE new plants in America.

I see, so the fact that WalMart eliminated millions of American jobs by forcing its suppliers to close down US production means nothing.

Just like the fact that US auto manufacturers have closed down many plants and laid off tens of thousands.

But the fact that Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, and many others have BROUGHT jobs to America (and well paying jobs at that - a worker at Toyota plant is not making WalMart wages) is a bad thing.
