Here in the United States the Cobalt STARTS at $14K, and by the time you add the SAME options as the Honda Fit (which come standard, by the way), you're looking at $18K or more.
Don't know why Canadian pricing is so radically different, but it obviously is.
That said, GM is the king of fleecing, and if you actually drove the Fit you would find it has more interior room AND is vastly superior in quality. Funny how the only innovative thing GM can do is come up with more gas guzzling SUVs.
The Fit is such a joke car that it is outselling the Cobalt and has an edge over the Cobalt in almost every category. But other than that I guess it is a "joke".
