I'd suggest you read the reviews for the Ford Windstar. That vehicle is junk, and some of those posts prove that no matter how well you take care of it, it will still fail on you.

No, you did. The topic WAS that regular maintenance guarantees reliability of a car. Try to stick to the topic at hand because that is what I did.
Regular maintenance is necessary for any car regardless of what the domestic posters say.
