Consumer Reports and similar organization accept no advertising or influence in editorial content, yet both the editors AND actual car owners continue to say Japanese cars (Honda, Toyota and to a lesser extent Nissan) are better than most American cars.
Another pro-domestic theory thrown out the window.

Um, the Ford Fusion you are raving about is built in MEXICO so is therefore an import by definition. The Camry is designed, built, and sold by AMERICANS so therefore is a domestic.
Oh, in 25 years I've NEVER owned a good "domestic" and had ONLY great imports.
