I have a 1998. In between oil changes, I still have to add a few quarts. Plus the light flickering problem started happening to my car about two months ago. I'm sad to learn that it's not fixable.

I have a 1999 Intrigue and it doesn't use a drop of oil. Maintaining fresh oil every 3000 miles is recommended for any vehicle. Change your oil regularly is the life of any engine.
