You got to be kidding, right? Chevrolet never did, and, never will make an engine as good as a slant 6, or, 318. Either did anyone else for that matter.

Chevrolet's are actually quite low in the reliability department, and their build quality is the worst of the Big 3. The best import to buy would either be a Honda, a Toyota, or a Hyundai. All are very good. But Subaru isn't too bad, just not quite as good as Honda and Toyota.
