Had the same problem with mine.
Ford did about $5k worth of work on it.
After about 2 years, found the problem was that one of the tires was bigger than the others. The drive system has a very tight tolerance as to tires size.
Measure your tire circumferences and compare.

"My problem is that I have a grinding sound on the passenger side of my truck when I put it under acceleration load."
It took me 2 years to solve this problem; they swapped out about $5k in parts.
The answer; one of my tires was larger than the others, which made the all wheel drive slip.
